Our licensed nursing service complements NHS nursing provision and is managed to pre-agreed standards within a clinical governance framework.

Our local nurses and healthcare support workers live within the communities they serve. We take great care in selecting and developing them, employing professional, well-trained and committed individuals, the majority of whom have worked with us for many years.

We recognise that nurses and healthcare support workers visit patients in their own homes, so all potential nursing staff are subject to professional screening that meets the standards laid down by the National Care Standards Commission.

Responsible for providing clinical support to the patients and their families, they receive full induction training and on-going supervision and assessment from regional nursing coordinators under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Many have extensive experience of high-tech treatments and specialist therapy areas.
